Translation and Validation of the Bulgarian Version of the Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) in Patients with Osteoarthritis

The Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) is one of the valid reliable tools for patient-reported assessment knee joint in cases injury or osteoarthritis, before after replacement. aim this study was to evaluate validity reliability Bulgarian version KOOS questionnaire. First, original English translated into Bulgarian, back-translated, pilot-tested clarity acceptance. Then questionnaire administered 77 patients with osteoarthritis some them completed it again within a week. Internal consistency, test-retest reliability, construct were assessed through Cronbach's alpha, Intraclass correlation coefficient, WOMAC questionnaire, respectively. Minimum alpha level 0.7 exceeded by all five subscales KOOS. ICC four fifth had moderate 0.57. High score found showed correlation. results suggest that use knee.
